FATE/ZERO REVIEW!
(WARNING :CONTAINS DISTURBING MATERIAL. YOU ARE ADVISED)
The adventure of trying to understand the fate franchise!
I taste so salty while making this
As I was saying, Fate/zero's plot is 10 years before "fate stay night's" plot so i guess i know what series I'm watching next!
Anyway, in this universe, after a certain duration of time, some certain magicians from different families fight to the death in order to obtain a golden grail that could make any wish come true. (context not included, neither sold separately).
These magician summon servant to fight for them.
Servants are of different classes:
Saber, lancer, archer, caster, berserker, rider and assassin.... Im not forgetting any. Am I?
Moving on, at the start, i had a hard time differentiating different masters because of their similar coloured hair and also the screen was a little dark because of which every master looked like Kotomine Kirei.
The opening and ending of the first season were normal. Not that bad, neither good.
The opening and ending of the second season was however, straight up depressing...
But it did match with the atmosphere they were in!
From character development to the flow of the story, from animation to the philosophy behind their reasons and logics, from clash of different ideology, culture, different mores and norms to the choices you'd wish even your grandchildren would never go through, this show played it all.
The standout character from this anime in my opinion would be Emiya Kiritsugu, Searching for light in a dark room with a blown out candle.
Finally, the score this anime gets is a darn,
9.43/10
This show is just too depressing.

I really dont know what happened Ilya. She was at the start of a few episodes then vanished and then you know what happened. If you don't then go watch it.
